Greetings, Washington District Elementary School families!
This year, we will be hosting Valentine’s Day events for our students on February 14th during regular school hours. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various activities with their classmates, as well as other grade-level buddies. Our students are partnering to share their love of learning.
We understand and value the joy that family involvement brings to such occasions, but this year’s event will allow grade levels to collaborate. We appreciate your understanding and support in creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students, and we look forward to your insight in planning our Spring activities.
Students will have the opportunity to exchange Valentine cards with their classmates and are encouraged to bring a decorated box or bag for card collection. If Valentine cards and/or a box are needed, please let your child’s teacher know so these can be provided.
We would like to extend the invitation for families to join our students for the Sweetheart Dance on February 15th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Please return your student’s permission form by February 13th to RSVP. We look forward to sharing this experience with you!
